Fees
My fees for indexing are based on the Society of Indexers' recommended rates, and may be charged on a per page, per hour or per 1000 words basis. I can accept payments in sterling or euros. The actual fee charged will depend on the level of complexity of the text, the time-frame for the work and the quality of the proofs/manuscript supplied. The fee includes one round of edits at the client's request.
My fees for legal tabling are based on such factors as the number of tables required (cases, legislation, grey literature etc), and the density of references per page. I charge an hourly rate for proofreading, based on degree of editing that is required.
I am happy to supply a quotation free of charge and with no obligation. Please contact me here for more information.
On your acceptance of my quotation, I will ask you to enter into an agreement covering such matters as the terms of payment, the time-frame for the assignment, the allocation of copyright in the index and the arrangements for later editing work if needed.
